Facebook has speeded up the work of the application for Android


The popular social network Facebook has launched a new version of the application for mobile devices based on Android platform. The upgrade looks pretty similar to that of the iPhone version. Facebook calls this new version a faster better mobile application for the social network. The main change in it according to the claim of the company is the speed increase of work of the application, that is mentioned on the website of Facebook.

“This is an important release – we have redeveloped the application to make it faster. Now our news, photos and applications are downloaded once a user opens Facebook”, - affirm the representatives of the network. According to the website TechCrunch the speed increase of work of the application Facebook will finally lead to the situation when users will spend more time in the social network. Accordingly, they will share the content more often and view more advertisements. This will affect the revenues of Facebook.

The upgrade includes an improved Facebook messenger application that will allow users to easily see who is online and available to chat. The mobile application may be updated either from the settings or through the Google Play store.

The developers of Facebook always pay much attention to the speed of work of mobile applications. For example, in August a new version of the application for iOS was launched. According to the administration of Facebook that application started working much faster. It became possible thanks to the innovations in mobile application development.
